Matthew is patient, funny, intelligent, and wise! He is not afraid to get his hands dirty - during one of our tours, he jumped onto a trash can so he could get a better look at the roof. He's also gotten down on hands and knees to look underneath floors. There's nothing Matthew won't do to ensure that you are getting the house you ask for. We were first time home buyers and Matthew was very patient with us, listening to our wants and needs, but at the same time keeping us realistic based on our budget. Every house that we toured, Matthew taught us new things about home ownership that we wouldn't have learned otherwise. We met Matthew in 2016, and looked at probably 10-15 houses, before placing an offer on one. Unfortunately, the seller chose another offer. After that defeat, we told Matthew we weren't ready to start looking again, and he was very understanding.

Fast forward two years, we were ready to look again, and we found the perfect house. Size, layout, location, price. This house was a bit of a fixer-upper, and as we bounced ideas off of Matthew on what we wanted to change and renovate, he would tell us what added to the resale value vs what wouldn't. Matthew never rushed us into making decisions, he had a vast network of professionals (mortgage lender, home inspector) and contractors (general contractor, plumbers, etc) that he worked with and trusted, and therefore we trusted as well. After we closed on our house, we started working with a general contractor that he recommended, who ended up doing 75% of our renovations. He's our go to guy now! Matthew is like a one-stop-shop for home buying and home ownership. The first day we met, Matthew told us "I'll never stop looking at houses for you, I only stop when you stop" and he held true to that statement. Thank you Matthew for all that you have done for us, and when we are ready to upgrade to our next home, you will be the one we call!"

He is always prepared, responsive, knowledgeable, and relaxed. He made this stressful process comfortable. We looked for a house a few years ago, where he would point out specific details about houses and gauged what we responded to as well as how much work we would want to put in a house. Did not take long for him to understand what we were looking for. He had some houses lined up for our first day out, some that we eventually would drive right past as they no longer met our criteria.

After losing out on a bid, we stopped looking for a house and moved into an apartment. Matthew never pressured us to buy a house, and kept in contact through our year at our apartment. We had new criteria, looking for a bit more of a fixer upper and told him what we wanted to do. Showed him a house we were interested in, and told him what we wanted to do.

He was not afraid to shut us down, telling us our changes will not add to the value of the home. He did provide what he believed would be best for that house, and assured us he wanted us to find our best fit. That house was just not meant for us. We trusted him and believed he could find us a better home, and about a month later he did just that.

Now we are in our new home! He even surprised us by showing up when we were signing documents! He has helped us get in contact with people to help with the renovations, and helped us prioritize which changes would be the biggest bang for our buck. We couldn't be happier with our decision.

Matthew will be our go to guy when we sell our home and decide to start looking again in 10 years. For him, it's not about making the sale. He is someone who is honestly trying to find you a home, one that you'd be happy living in.

I found Matthew trough my now wife, who purchased her condo from him some years ago. She told nothing but great things of him, and they are all true.

I was looking to sell my house before I got engaged, called Matthew, and we were off to the races.

I told Matthew the minimum I wanted, and he told me what I needed to do. He gave me the rough outline, provided a list of contacts for all of the necessary sub-contractors that I needed, and had given me names and numbers for any that I had for additional bids.

The project took about two months, and he was there every step of the way. Phone calls were returned in a timely manner, and weekly visits to check on the progress were always welcome.

All of the paperwork was doc-u-signed, never had to meet print out a hundred pages to scan back to him.

Matthew took the stress of the selling off of me. He listed it at a fair price and market paid over. But none of that would have been possible had he not provided me with contractors and a list of upgrades to do.

I will most definitely be using him when we go to sell my wife's condo in the future. And when we go to buy another house. Or a new weekend spot, or... He is our go to realtor.

I never felt like he was pressuring me to buy, only that he was advising me to make sure I made informed decisions. He took me far and wide to view some seriously hopeless houses and never gave up on me, even when I did. He knew what I suited for and listened to what I wanted.
